Was able to snag last minute reservation over Labor Day weekend as we waited too long for other options.
Decent Verizon LTE signal. Decent daily rate. Pay for 6 days get the 7th day free. We paid $22/night.

We didn’t stay here, but if you get gas at the Chevron attached to the RV park you can fill your fresh water tank for free. If you don’t get gas, it’s $5 for fresh water.
This place is great. With grocery stores, fuel and propane being scarce goring through the mountains, this place has it all! The rv park has a gas station that is easy to pull in no matter the rig size. The gas station also refills propane which was a huge plus for us since we needed to top off our backup tank. The park has full hookups, showers (we did not use them because we shower in our travel trailer with full hookups) and a small laundry facility. The staff are really nice. The little town of Chama has a little tiny bit of everything. We didn’t ride the tourist train that leaves from Chama but we did stop by to check it out and shop at the gift shop. We will go out of our way to visit here again! It’s beautiful with mild weather and small town charm. Wifi is provided but not the best service. AT&T was fine and we used cell internet whenever the wifi sucked.

I arrived in town after dark with light snow falling on March 14, 2024. The other RV parks in town didn’t appear to be open (winter season). I found a muddy site in Twin Rivers RV Park with electric power that was working. I didn’t find any information at the park’s office or at the Chevron Station next door. So I spent the night there because of the highway department website didn’t advise driving .
In the morning an employee said that the RV Park was closed, but I owed $39 for my night parking in a muddy site. That seemed very high for a small park with zero amenities. Even in good weather I would not recommend staying at this park - the place looks like a trailer park.
