Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 03, 2023Right in the middle of Challis. Very clean. Stayed here over the 4th of July weekend,2017. I walked to everything I wanted to do as far as festivities for the holiday. Parade, free BBQ in the park for everyone, with organized softball, volleyball, and a amateur horseshoe match, music, fireworks. The office makes a killer milkshake, get a spoon, not a straw. And a nice selection of scoop ice creams. About 12 different flavors.
$26 per night, full hook-ups,30 amp. No cable though if your a TV person. Even though your in town, it was very quiet at night. A little bit of a gem in my opinion. I was the only RV on Friday night starting the weekend when I wrote this revue. Give them some of your business if you can, they are nice folks and work hard to have a nice place for you and the family.
This is my first review so maybe I'm to easily impressed, but there you go..
P.S. The lady who owns the park knocked on my door shortly after I checked in and told me she had accidentally over charged me. She gave me back $8 cash to make it right. That's the kind of place this is...

We stayed here for a couple nights to beat the 90deg heat as we were boondocking our way up the Salmon River. It worked out great as it is full hookups so we were able to catch up on laundry and flush our tanks as well.
There's not much for amenities in the park, but Challis is a nice little town. The grocery store is walking distance, and the only one for about 50 miles, so we stocked up for a few days.
It's not much to look at, but it's pretty quite. We saw a number of rafting groups utilizing the cabins as well, but only 1 other RV at the time.
