“in the heart of Kentucky cave country”
Singing Hills is a great place to come for some peace and quiet. After a long day of driving, or a full day of sight seeing in the area; Singing Hills offers a welcome respite from the coming and going. It's a wonderful place to sit outside with a good book, or to take a quiet walk. The sunset over the park is always beautiful. As with nearly every other place on the planet, there are some non-conformists. The birds, frogs, and crickets in the area don't always vote for peace and quiet. Singing Hills is open year round. Singing Hills was purchased in January of 2007 by Eldon and Beth Brown. They have been busy cleaning, repairing, and sprucing up so Singing Hills will be in good shape for this season. Singing Hills is located in the heart of Kentucky's beautiful cave country just outside Mammoth Cave National Park. It is easily accessible from I-65 and is close to many area attractions.

They were friendly, helpful and not put out by our many questions and our last minute call. They gave a military discount and their place was clean, quiet and comfortable.
Located away from traffic and up on a hillside, Singing Hills was a quiet, clean, and well-maintained campground and RV Park - and just a few miles from the Mammoth Caves National Park! Beth and Eldon are wonderful owners/hosts and we were thankful they were kind enough to wait for us when we knew we would be arriving later than planned. I would recommend the park and plan to visit it again on my next trip to Kentucky!
The rate we paid was Passport America. This is your basic RV Park. Its main draw is its close proximity to Mammoth Cave National Park. There are no special amenities at this campground. They expect you to go out and do things elsewhere.
The couple who run the place are extremely nice and welcoming. Check in was quick. There are DVDs in the campground office that you can borrow on the honor system.
The roads are paved, sites are mostly level and pull through, although it appeared a few could be a challenge. 50 Amp power and water were good. There is sewer at the sites also. Sites are a bit closer than you might like. But then again, they expect you to be at Mammoth Cave during the day.
Over the air television was good from Bowling Green. Verizon signal was excellent. The WiFi at the campground worked really well...but the place was nearly empty. You might have issues during the high season.
We stayed here because the campgrounds at the National Park are closed in February. That would have been our first choice. But this campground made an excellent alternative.

Most people are coming to this area of KY for Mammoth Cave and that's why we stayed at Singing Hills.
The location was easy to find about 5 miles off I-65 and all roads leading up to the campsite were fine for our 42' class a pulling a Chevy Traverse. Check-in was quick and easy and by the time I had the toad unhitched, my wife had already checked us in.
We stayed with friends who had a popup, so they were on a 30amp site and we were on a 50amp site. Our friends beat us there and mistakenly set up camp on our 50amp site. The owner was incredibly nice and wanted to make sure my power cord could still reach the 50amp outlet, which it did.
The campsites are a little close together, but that didn't bother us at all. There was a huge field where our kids could play as well as a set of swings. The office also has fishing poles you can borrow to fish in their small pond.
The wifi was the best we have ever had at a campsite. The campground was pretty full, but the speeds were still good.
We did not use the bathroom facilities, so I can't say how nice or clean they were.
A great little campground for exploring the cave and the hiking trails around the cave.

Our first time Goin out camping in our renovated 1966 decamper was such an enjoyable one. We just wanted to go away for a night we live close so didn't want to pay a lot Singing Hills was very affordable and me and my husband enjoyed our stay. Elden at the office was very sweet and thorough. We had quite a few campers stop by n visit which we thought was fun. We would recommend Singing Hills and we will come back, we'd luv to even stay longer. Thank you.

There are bars with AT&T and Verizon, but there is no bandwidth on those bars. The camp WiFi was also strong, but the link up to the internet was just as bad. Since we need 100% connectivity to work we had to uproot and leave. We had planned to be here the week and the park looks like a great place to be if you don't need access to reliable internet. Price was in November and presume to be off-peak rate.

This cute little RV park was close to Mammoth Cave National Park and perfect for a weekend stay. They have RV sites with full hookups and tent camping as well. We used our Passport America discount which got us 1/2 off for the first 2 nights stay. We were in a 50amp site for $20/night (with discount), which was well worth the money!
The spots are pretty close together with no privacy trees or bushes in-between, but the campers were friendly so it wasn't bad at all.
There's even a small catch and release fishing pond! It was peaceful and quiet here and the town was a bit quirky and unique. Besides going to Mammoth Cave, the area is really remote so there's not much else to do.
If we come back to this area, we'd stay at the park again!

Chose this location for its proximity to the NP. It was perfect for our needs with regard to access, overall cleanliness, location, and general community behaviors. The site we were placed on was slightly off-level where we chose to park (due to tree roots). There were pull-through (which we had) and back-in spots. There were several tent campers sharing the campground for our night. There is a dump station for those who do not get a full hook-up site (seen in photos already posted to site).
I cannot comment on the cleanliness or quality of the bath house, as I did not use the facility during our stay. It appeared to be an older building from the outside, but the kindness and attention of the staff on site would lead me to believe it would be kept clean.
They light up the wagon wheels at the camp entrance to aid with finding the park after dark along the park access road. In town (Cave City) restaurants and shopping are just a short distance away, with a Walmart in Glasgow, about another 9 miles down the same road (measured from the interstate in Cave City).

We arrived on a Sunday. Check-in was quick. Eldon, the owner, is super welcoming. Provides you with tons of useful info about the campground and the area. Not all campgrounds do this, I've noticed. This is a fairly small campground. Sites are decent size, but not huge. Ours was pretty level but a bit muddy from recent rain. It was very quiet, but we weren't there over a weekend. We had a bit of trouble with our electric hookup. Eldon, was on it immediately. Even loaned us an extension cord so we could plug into the site next to us. The best part is Singing Hills is a quick 15-20 minute drive into Mammoth Cave National Park. So the location is awesome. Grocery and a few restaurants in Cave City, not too far away.
