Kentucky Action Park & Riding Stables

Stables: Ride one of our gentle horses in cave country with over 500 acres of trails where Jesse James once roamed robbing banks and stage coaches and hiding out in caves such as the Outlaw Cave on the way to Mammoth Cave. We are one of the largest and oldest stables in KY. The whole family from 2 to 90 years old can ride on Guided Trail Rides that leaves ever 30 minutes from 9am-6pm during summer. (Memorial weekend-Labor Day weekend) also open Spring and Fall. Open March to November. Children 2-5 yrs. ride w/adult if weight does not exceed 240 lbs. 6 yrs and up ride their own horse. One-half hr- $14.00, 1-hr $18.00, 2-hr $34.00. No reservations needed, just show up. Alpine Slide: Ride the only Alpine Slide in Kentucky down the thrilling ¼ mile track. Ride the scenic Chairlift up the mountain to the Alpine Slide, grab a sled and head over the mountain controlling your speed as you come down. Zipline:

If you have the nerve, harness up and ride the scenic Chairlift up the mountain for the thrill of your lifetime. Zip across the first two lines and swinging bridge to get ready for the last line, where you will get the thrill of a lifetime, zipping down over ½ mile and over 300 feethigh through the woods and beautiful open scenery. You can also challenge your friends to race down on the twin lines. It has been compared to a roller coaster.

Children must be at least 3 years old and if, under, 70 lbs. ride tandem w/adult or guide, same price as adult. Weight limit is 70-270 lbs. Rate is:  1-Ticket $45.00 or 3/$99.95.   No, Reservations Required.

Go carts:

Bring the whole family and ride the Go Carts. We have single Go Carts and double Go Carts, for those not tall enough to drive so they can ride w/adult. Must be 56” tall to drive and adult has to be 18 or older. 

Single-$4.00, Double-$5.00, 10-ticket-$35.00, All Day Pass, $24.95, unlimited.

Bumper Cars & Boats:

Bring the whole family and have a bumping good time bumping around on the Bumper Cars. 48” tall to drive or can ride w/adult. 

$4.00 or 10/$35.00 or All Day Pass $24.95, unlimited, riding.

Chairlift:

Ride the scenic Chairlift up the mountain to ride the Alpine slide or just ride the Chairlift up and back to relax and enjoy the view. 

$5.00 or included w/ other Rides and All Day Pass $24.95.

Outlaw Cave Tours:

While in the area, visit Outlaw Cave, the only wheelchair accessible cave in area. Enjoy a 30-minute non-strenuous cave tour seeing beautiful formations and amazing large columns formed by nature from ceiling to floor.Nice, cool, short and easy cave tour for anyone who does not want to do a lot of walking or stairs. And see natural formations of a cave. Optional, 8 steps, cameras, are allowed.

Cabins:

Want to spend the night in one of our cozy cabins, we can accommodate you. Our cabins have heat, air, full bath, full-size bed, bunk beds, futon, TV, small refrigerator, 2-burner hot plate, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, bed linens and 4-sets of towels daily.  Rent extra towels for $1.00 per set. Cabins have a loft but you bring your own sleeping bag, we do not furnish anything for loft.
