US 90 Roadside Picnic Area

March 1st, 2019: RVer report confirms mulyoiple reports from FEb 2013 & earlier,, & info provided by TX DOT. Overnight RV Parking is Permitted. State of TX allows parking for up to 24 hours in Roadside Picnic Areas unless there is signage to the contrary. Fairly wide paved turnout, not separated from hwy; room for 3 - 4 rigs. Not level; decided downhill slop to the N (away from highway). Mar 2019 RVer parked with wheels up on curb to be more level. Lighted by one street light. Substantial road noise, as this location is at the top of a hill. Four sheltered picnic tables, trash barrels; no other known amenities.
