Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 17, 2022We really like this park and if it weren't for the thick smoke we would have stayed for a week.
Friendly owners who do a lot of work daily to keep the grounds in good condition.
Enough trees for a bit of shade, but we were able to get satellite in our site. Let them know when you call and they'll work to find you a spot that works. Level dirt site with 50 amp FHU, everything worked well.
Our site was along the river with nice green space to walk the dog, fish, sit and enjoy the water. Nice swimming area and playground for the kids.
The park is full of hand carved totem poles and they give carving classes on site. So cool!
The only ding is the dirt roads kick up a bit of dust although they do make a point of asking everyone to drive slowly. Sites are narrow with some grass and a picnic table.
Fire pit by the river, none at the sites (yay!)
Cascade is a cute little town with a decent grocery store and a few good eateries. Remington's is a real surprise - high quality food, prepared perfectly.

This is a wonderful place right on the Payette River. The staff is excellent. 31.00 a night is the weekly rate. Pull through sites, full hookups, laundry, shower, rec room and small store. One bar of Verizon and 3 bars with a weboost. Internet semi slow at times but not bad. I've seen worse. Sites are level. Excellent camp ground ran by excellent staff.

Some web-zoom appointments and access to WIFI brought me here. Arrived and stayed on site 58 but then moved around the park as I extend stay. Large staff and ground crews keep busy all day and are tremendously helpful. Keep in mind, they require an employee to direct you to your spot and guide you in. Amenities are abundant and special events occur weekly. The owners are nice, kind folks with a good work ethic. Access to the Payette River is excellent. Fuel, Groceries, and dining is close. Every age, and demographic is represented here. Like I mentioned earlier, it grows on you.
Worth it.

Really enjoyed our time here. The staff is amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Truly seemed to care about us having a great experience. There’s a lot to do that unfortunately we weren’t acme to take advantage of. The setting on the river was very nice. Even though there’s close access to the main road, we found it to be nice and quiet.
