I've experienced these exact same things, people thought I was crazy, until... one day something tragic happened to me. My buddies and I weren't so "careful" it was 3am and something clearly told us to leave. We ignored the fact that we had just caught an EVP on a PHONE... well, the very next night, on May 31st 2020, I had a very bad motorcycle wreck that put me in bed rest for a year. There was a box truck just parked in the middle of the road around a blind corner. Instead of hitting it, I chose the oncoming lane, but there was a car... so I then chose to hit a curb and it slung me approximately 20ft in the air and 300 ft away. This wreck ironically happened at 2:59am (the same time stamp the following night where the unexplainable voice told us to leave red ash) that place is 100% haunted and as of today, I still have both videos of the security cam footage of the wreck and the video with the evp saying "leave" to anyone that goes, please respect the place!

People may have bad experiences at Red Ash but in the daylight its not bad and not creepy to be honest, at night time though its very very creepy and can most definitely tell its haunted.

One night i went up to the cemetery with some friends of mine and we was hanging out up there and to remind and put it out there we wasn't doing anything we wasn't suppose to but we heard a howl like it was a man yelling than we heard it again and it was some what closer but the second time it didn't sound like a man it sounded like a wolf we didn't know what it was but every time we heard it. it would get closer and closer so we decided that if we heard it again we would leave, we heard the noise again and it sounded like it was very close to us so we hurried up and got out of there...

Another night we went back up there at night time and we parked right in front of the cemetery my friends and i looked back into the words and seen 4 red eyes and it was pitch black dark we couldn't see anything besides those eyes and we went to check it out and nothing was there we went back to the car and looked back and they was there again so we didn't go back after that...

One last thing, I did hear that the angel at the grave site as people say where the witch is berried, but i heard that the last person that took the change from the angel got into a bad car accident and the change was bedded into one of the doors, Red Ash is a very creepy but also somewhat of an great place you just have to be careful with what you do around places when you go up there just remember the abandoned building that looks like its been burnt down but was an old prison i guess they say, the railroad tracks that's next to the building is haunted, i do know and believe that because me and my friend's heard a train on the tracks but there was nothing there period, you can hear little girls play on it and laugh at nighttime, i know this because every time we would go up there we would always stay up there at Red Ash until about 3 to 5 o'clock in the morning... be safe whatever you do because no matter what people say or tell you about red ash that place is 100% truly haunted and very creepy at night time...

I have seen some unexplainable things on this little stretch of road. Other than that it's a very pretty area.

There are no reported cases of hauntings, hybrid goat men, or other ghastly ghoulies pre-2010. What did come about was the popularity of "amateur ghost hunters" who publicized this once peaceful cemetery to what it has become: a place of wild imaginative urban legends and a vandalized, desecrated place that brings sorrow to the families that visit their buried loved ones here.

You may be curious to know that the road to the cemetery is now unmarked, the sign has been removed in a last ditch effort to keep intruders out. In fact, one of the first ghost hunters had this to say:

How can I possibly regret a place, an unofficial, proposed haunted place? Well, when I first began ghost hunting, Red Ash wasn’t as notorious. I can lay claim to the fact that myself, and my paranormal friends, brought notoriety to Red Ash. We were some of the pioneering paranormal researchers sharing our experiences out there.

However, much destruction has come to some of the cemeteries and hot spots in that area and I am certain we would like to not be a part of the reason so many people know about and visit this area in search of a thrill, or evidence of ghosts, or evil or whatever drives each individual to wander out there.

I regret I ever shared the details of our investigations publicly.

There are real consequences to these stories. We sincerely ask for your help and that you will let Turley Cemetery alone in hopes that our upcoming endeavors to clean up the cemetery are not met with even more unwanted sight seers and vandals directed to the location by this site.
