We stayed one night en route to Montana and glad we did! We stayed here mid September, 2018 on a Saturday night and we were the only ones there! The entire CG is paved with 5 sites with one for tenters, and two are pull throughs that would fit bigger rigs. We stayed in the first pull through and were level all around. Even through this is right on the highway, it is relatively quiet because there is little traffic through this area. While we were there, a few people drove through to visit the site either the historic significance of it or the river. The river is beautiful here and we saw two bald eagles in the morning and a deer in the evening. We would definitely stay here again. This is an easy in and easy out CG. Regular fee is $5, but with National Parks Senior Pass is $2.50 a night. A great bargain.

It was ok for for a place to stop for the night. Best thing was we were the only ones here. Nice paved level pads & roads, nice graveled area at each site for grilling and separate fire pit and picnic table. Each site was roomy. Only fault was no trees, or landscaping.. Plenty of room for a large trailer. Right off highway but not a lot of noise.

Easy access, used pull through site as we were towing. Mild road noise but quiet overnight. Vault toilet, waste recepticals, riverside, and fairly level pads. Can use senior pass discount. Verizon cell service was good for calls and data.

Just wanted to add that we fit into one of the back-in sites just fine in our 41' 5th wheel (60' with truck). Access road and loop in campground are wide and easy to navigate.

When we pulled in at 4 p.m. on a summer weekday, we were the only ones here, but within a couple of hours, three other RVers pulled in. Spaces are far enough apart that we did not feel crowded.

Verizon LTE wavered between 2 and 3 bars; T-Mobile between 1 and 2.

Big nest of osprey on a pole by the river; could have watched them for hours!

This was a decent spot out of Salmon heading north on 93. There are five sites; 1 for tents, 2 pull thrus, 2 back ins. The Salmon River runs right beside it. There is constant noise from the highway but I always carry earplugs. There is a clean pit toilet, picnic tables, and fire pits. Sites are paved and mostly level. I had 1 bar on ATT. There are no trees and there is grass between sites.
