After a few days drycamp we needed to dump. We ended in Carlsbad. Campendium showed us a free dump site near Bataan Park and the Pecos river.
No drinking water.
Free dump station. Easy to find and turn around. Non potable water available for rinsing/flushing. Be aware of the way you come in. We did have a lower clearance bridge we went under.
The last review was from 2019 so I wasn’t sure if it was still available but it is. Plenty of room to turn around and also a dumpster if you need to get rid of any trash. You can’t search for it on Maps, but just follow the address provided!
Free dump station at a local park. Worked well. The water hose fitting did not fit my flush valve which made it hard to flush the black tank but it worked anyways. Good place to dump for free :)
This dump station was absolutely free, very easy to access, plenty of room to maneuver, and very conveniently located. Also, there was absolutely no one there on a Saturday morning.
EZ PeeZee (no pun intended). Directions are correct - station is flat - and there's a water hose of non-potable water for clean-up. And FREE
Free dump site with water. Use tee handle on top of brown tube sticking out of the ground to turn the water valve on/off. Appears an underground leak exists from a broken pipe (as other user noted), so you may not want to drink this water. We don't drink our water so not a concern for us.
It was a little dirty, but it was free! Easy to access. The water is non potable.
I want to echo what others have said. This is a dump station only. There is cleaning water via a hose at the site, but it is non potable wash down water only.
It is right in Carlsbad not too far from downtown, so the traffic can be a little touchy at certain times of the day. There is also a dump or scrap yard there, so there is quite a bit of traffic around the station when you are waiting or maneuvering.
It’s a free dump in a nice park by a lake. And there is a frisbee golf course there if you have the time. And no portable water here.
