This place has so much potential but alas....

We arrived on the Wednesday evening. It was dark so lucky we used our flashlights to check out the site before pitching. There are hundreds upon hundreds of nails everywhere and so much broken glass I could hardly believe it. Hubby says that its from burned pallets. Such a shame. This location has so much potential, its beautiful but its also the local youth hangout site. Every night there were cars and trucks there playing very loud music and having fires.

On the Friday evening around 8.30pm, we decided to pack up and ship out when the guns starting blasting.

So much potential yet so far off the mark.

Mind your children and pets with all the broken glass.

Mid level camping area parking lot was full of nails and broken glass, stay on the first level, there's actually 3 levels. Was one other car, really quiet . Stayed one night, and still hopefully we don't end up with flat tires from the nails.

You should not attempt this without 4 wheel drive. Do NOT go in the dark!!!

I took my 28' class C and could barely make it to a camp site. When I did, I didn't feel super safe since it looked like a turn around spot so I tried to go further and gave up fearing damage to my rig.
Very pretty area though.
