Carlsbad Sea Wall Trail

This unique trail located along the coastal beaches of north Carlsbad is a favorite for walking and running, as well as a popular people- and dolphin-watching destination for residents and tourists alike. Parts of the trail run parallel with the Coast Highway at the bluff tops. Parts of the sea wall are adjacent to the sandy shoreline of the big blue Pacific Ocean. Note: Dogs are not allowed on the lower Sea Wall, but are allowed on the sidewalks, on leash, along Carlsbad Boulevard.
