This oasis tucked into the suburban sprawl of North County offers satisfying diversity for a hike this brief, as well as a few adventurous moments and surprises on the trail. This 3.2 mile lollipop loop visits the most interesting and attractive features of the preserve.

Easy hike around the lake. There are also a lot of trails that you can explore off the main lake trail. Dogs allowed on leash. About a 2 mile hike, mostly pretty flat, with a few uphills/downhills, but nothing very strenuous. Very beautiful scenery. You can almost forget that you are still in the city! Definitely recommend!
