There’s a loop with 2 established areas for camping with covered tables, grills and clean vault toilets, plus one other disbursed spot. There aren’t a ton of spots- only enough room for about 5 rigs in the entire area, so I wouldn’t arrive late. Really nice spot considering the amenities you get for free. They were regrading the road while we were there, so access should be even better now.

Very easy to find and very pretty. We stayed 3 nights and would stay again. There are camping areas that have a toilet and covered areas with picnic tables. When we arrived here there were already a few people staying in those areas so we stayed st the very end where it was nice and open. Still next to the creek, but alone and peaceful. Very close to Craters Of The Moon and not far from a gas station or store. There is no hookups here.
If your coming down Cuttoff Rd then the turn will be the on the right, right BEFORE the cattle guards. Go down that and off to the left are the little picnic areas that you can stay at or if you go all the way to the end there is the open area alone.

The few established sites are amazing with covered picnic tables, firepits, easy access to pit toilets and all situated on the bank of the Silver Creek. If you aren’t lucky enough to score one of these spots there are flat fields that are perfect for boondocking. Just be careful as we came across a rattlesnake in said fields.

This was such a perfect spot to boondock! Quiet, right by a beautiful river, and even amenities! There was a clean vault toilet, 2 tent pads, 2 shaded picnic tables, and 2 fire rings.
The AT&T cell service was good enough to use my hotspot and work.
It was fairly easy to access down a gravel road. There are also a couple of additional less developed spots if the two developed spots are full. If the 2 spots are full there isn't a ton of room for larger rigs or 5th wheels to turn around and get out, so I would recommend scouting before coming all the way in.
Only about 30 minutes from Craters of the Moon!
The only downside was the wind was fairly brutal while I was there in June. But at least that kept the mosquitoes away!

Excellent spot for a day or three. Clean easy access, if the gravel sites are full there are other boondocking sites along the access road next to the creek. It is a tight turn around at the gravel sites, I have a 30’ trailer (not a 5th wheel), and had no problem. You do want to watch the brush along the roads if you are worried about scratches. Had 2 bars with TMobile 3 with booster no problems connecting and streaming.

It was 95 degrees when we stayed but the creek was cool and refreshing! Very peaceful. All by ourselves. We stayed at the south site where there are two spots with shelters for shade. The north site has no shelter. Both areas have pit toilets. Very relaxing. Bit of a washboard road but not for very long.

Don't be scare to drive into the camp sites. It is narrow and it a loop so you will come out the other side! All sites were taken for our 30f 5th wheel so we just drove little farther and found a spot was just big enough for our rig. It is windy!!!!

I stayed at the smaller developed site, everything was great until 2 completely unsupervised local dogs from a nearby house rushed me and my dog. I typically don’t worry about barking dogs, but one was acting overly aggressive. I had to put my dog in the camper to avoid a fight and damn near every time I tried to walk her they would come back. The aggressive dog looked like a ridgeback and wasn’t any better behaved when I was alone.
I suggest staying at the larger developed site or one of the dispersed spots if you have small pets, children, scared of ... or just inexperienced with aggressive dog breeds.
