Well worth the stay. Some of the best views of the park are at the visitors center at the top of the canyon. We recommend not parking close to the visitors center, but better to park in the lot above it and then walk down to it. There is a general store in the canyon and several campground loops (most with water and electric). Some primitive sites too. We enjoyed riding the bikes, and a couple of short hikes, but the bugs were aggressive in late August (seems they could keep up with us even as we road the bikes). The night sky was brightly filled with stars. We will stay here again, probably later in the fall or early spring and hopefully the biting flies and other bugs will be less active.
