Willis Creek Slot Canyon

This is an amazing treat! This is a great place to go if you are making your way east from Bryce Canyon and are headed either to Kodachrome State Park or Escalante, Utah. The only thing you need to make sure of is the condition of the dirt road you must take to get to the trailhead. When we went in the summer, it was fine--graded with a few washboard areas--but I've heard after rain it can be very difficult to traverse. This is an amazing canyon and a super easy hike. Every corner is a feast for the eyes with many an opportunity for a beautiful photo! A tiny stream runs through this canyon. You can walk quite a ways and just turn around when you're done. Sometimes people ride their horses through here, so be prepared if you see them!
