Camp Sherman Campground

We camped here for two nights just prior to July 4th. It's a great area on the Metolius River. There were multiple sites in the campground not in use while we were there. We have an Airstream with a bathroom so we never went into the restrooms - can't report on those. It is a level and very quiet campground right on the Metolius River with the Metolius River Trail running along the river through the campground in both directions. The little hamlet of Camp Sherman is a mere half mile away via the river trail where there is a cute little general store (with a great fly fishing gear section) and a restaurant or two. The campsites are spacious and lots of trees provide shade during warm days. Firewood was available to purchase in the campground. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that there is no cell service at all if you have Verizon or ATT.

Located on the Metolius River, a half mile north of Camp Sherman Store Camp Sherman Campground offers fifteen campsites with vault toilets, piped drinking water, and a picnic shelter and access to fly fishing.
