Spanish Oaks - Possum Kingdom State Park

This was our first state park in our new travel trailer and it was awesome. There is a marina with a little gift store and small grill/eats place. Not too exciting, but it was fun. The bathrooms were clean and close by with hot showers. All spots were level and easy to access (with a 17' trailer). Water and electric only. There is a dump station in the park. It was cool and overcast the day we were there and so it was also very quiet. The day we left (this photo) it cleared up and there were a lot of airplane sounds. We asked and they said that is normal and they don't fly close on overcast days. There was a nice hike off the other end which takes you around the point and you can climb to the top if you want. Overall, very nice 2-night stay.
