Caballo Lake State Park

The primary attraction of the lake is fishing, with bass and walleye fishing most popular. The park has 4 campgrounds7 Full Hookups, Palomino Campground. 23 Electric/Water Sites, Appaloosa Campground. 10 Electric/Water Sites, Stallion Campground. 16 Electric/Water Sites, Riverside Campground. Non Electric Sites (See Primitive Camping Map) Restrooms with water, showers and toilets. 1 Vault Toilet for Primitive Camping by the Horse Corral and 1 Vault Toilet before the Boat Launch 2 Boat Ramps.(No fishing from Ramps) Horse Corral and Group Shelter Reservations can be made with the Park Office, 575 743-3942.
