Located within the Crystal Cove State Park, this is a primitive, walk in camping area. Campers must pack in and out all of their supplies, including water.
The Park has three campgrounds (tent only) with 34 campsites (4 per site) including Dear Canyon, Lower Moro and Upper Moro. These are about a 3 miles east of the beach up in the canyon. After you park your car in El Moro lot, you must hike inland about three miles, mostly uphill. The trail is strenuous at times and is in the opposite direction from the beach. You must pack everything in, including water.We do not have photos of Deer Canyon campground at this time. Please check back again in the future.
