Big Basin Sate Park is California's oldest State Park, established in 1902. The Park includes more than 18,000 acres from the ocean to an elevation of 2,000 feet. The biggest attraction is a rare stand of ancient coastal Redwood trees that are among the tallest and oldest tress on Earth. Visitors will enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, lush waterfalls, more than 80 miles of roads and trails, and a fascinating natural and cultural history.
