Huge flat gravel parking area with 2 vault toilets and a trash dumpster.
What more could you want?
Great spot for the night. Several other RV's pulled in after us and there was more than enough room.
Pit toilets were closed (COVID-19) but there are porta toilets available.
We parked as far from the road as we could and were not bothered by the noise. Traffic is pretty light in the night anyway.
If you proceed into Burns in the morning, may I recommend the Juniper Cookhouse for a great breakfast.
Is what it is. Free spot in the middle of the high dessert. Gas about 25mi away in Burns. Also a free dump with gas/propane purchase in burns.
Stayed here twice. End of August, middle of September. Restrooms were open. There is a dumpster as well... We saw a local unload almost 10 bags from his pickup. Picnic area. No water. Pretty level in the corners. No cell phone reception. Few others spent the night also.
