Nice quiet easy to find. Not busy on a Friday. Very clean standard USFS pit bathroom. Sites are pretty private. No bear boxes. I was the only tent there. Sites are large parking would accommodate large units.

We arrived later in the evening on Sunday over Fourth of July weekend. We traveled with 2 other families pulling their own travel trailers and reserved sites 001-003 in advance. The drive from the major highway was beautiful but brutal going up and down those mountains. Finding and accessing the campground was easy. Just map it out on your GPS before there is no longer service.
Our sites were back-in sites and I would say that if you have a rig longer than 45 ft, it might be a bit more challenging to back into those 3 sites. Ground was pretty level for the most part and our sites were spacious enough to allow us some privacy. We had site 003 and it sat higher than the other two because we were on a hill. That site was near the bathrooms (pit toilets). Bring your lantern or flashlight with you when you use the pit toilets. There is a motion sensor light in the stalls but it times out after a few minutes. It could be traumatizing for little children.
There is no water fill or dump on site. Only a drinking water pump. Dump is back in town at the gas station Town Pump (several back in town actually).
Mosquitoes were not as bad as we thought. There is a grill and a fire pit at each site.
The foliage and flowers were so beautiful around our site and the butterflies- WOW!!! So many of them. We just stayed for 1 night but we would definitely come back for an extended stay.
