“coastal wildlife reserve”
Continuing west, Boca Chica Blvd. becomes US 281, known locally as the Military Highway. Drive west approximately 4.5 miles on US 281 to the River Bend Subdivision. The unmarked dirt road across from the River Bend office is the entrance road for Resaca de la Palma. Access to this site is open, except during hunting season. Plans are to include this property as part of the Brownsville WBC. Information about access may be obtained by calling TPWD at (956) 447-2704. This tract contains mature woodlands as productive as any in the Valley.
