Park is quiet and peaceful with lots of shaded trees. Staff is friendly and informative. Bath houses and laundry are very nice and clean. Rv park located in a historical quaint little town. Nearby National Forest with lots of hiking trails etc. We travel in a 39 foot Fifth wheel and where given a spacious pull thru site.

Thousand Trails / Encore member here. First, in the hustle of full resorts in February, this place worked with me to move people around so a site long enough for my rig would be available. Booking completed, we showed up. The TT site says 40' max as does this page. We're 42'. It is tight but we fit and there are some other sites that we'd be clearly open to getting into. I think a call here prior to booking would allow > 40 to come to multiple sites.
Like many Encore resorts, there are some full time/permanent sites here but none are trashy and the people are great. The winter regulars here are quite possibly the nicest bunch I have ever come across. Everyone is welcoming whether it is to their weekly music jam session, cribbage or tossing bags. The cross-inclusion of everyone and welcoming nature of the people here made me want to stay forever.
A few sites are a little small but it is a big park, very wooded, water around and quite beautiful.
The power was consistent, water pressure great! They have an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. The indoor has a small hot tub and sauna as well. They pick up trash right at your site.
Brooksville has all you need and it is extremely quiet here.
I use a PepWave Max DUO router with AT&T and Verizon - both had full bars and low utilization so my combined WiFi was mega-fast. My cell is T-Mobile and it also is full bars here in the park. It is the first place I have been where all 3 were very strong.

Our rig had a breakdown that required me to park it somewhere until it could seen by the repair shop, and this campground was the closest to where I was. I didn't have a tow vehicle, only a bicycle. Here's my experience:
Tucked away adjacent to a huge neighborhood of retirement community "camp models", this campground was clean, well maintained and heavily shaded by big trees. They have a nice pool, a great video library, a nice walking trail by the ponds and a pleasant staff. The sites and drives through the campground are tight for larger rigs, but doable.
It looked as if about 60% to 70% of the campsites were occupied by permanent campers, but they for the most part were kept neat.
The biggest issue I had, as others have said in their reviews, is that there is literally no tv reception, no cable tv, no free wi-fi ( they wanted me to pay for it, no thanks, never been charged for it at any other campground) and almost no cell-phone reception (ATT)...so I got in a lot of walking, bike riding and DVD movie watching. Staying in contact with family though was VERY difficult because of all of those limitations. It seems like management is way behind on understanding the communication and technology needs of today's campers.
Oh, this facility advertises that it is a Thousand Trails campground...well until you produce an affiliated Thousand Trails discount card. Those don't apply we were told. To me, either you are or you aren't. Don't advertise it if you aren't going to honor TT's full programs and available discounts.

This was our first thousand trails park and boy did we luck out. Most sites are heavily shaded by big pine trees and the permanent residents are very friendly. My Fiance and I work from home full time so both are in video calls and online 8 hours per day each. Our internet was a little spotty but we were still able to work fine. We have a cell booster that we did not use, maybe if we did the internet would have been better.
Our rig is 38 feet and it was a little tight to get into our spot but wasn't horrible. Also, we have 2 hotspots, Verizon Jetpack and AT&T Night Hawk with MIMO antennas. The Verizon worked best but AT&T wasn't too bad either.
Our dogs loved the area. We sat outside with them every night on leashes. Other dogs are all leashed and well maintained. The amenities were really nice too.
Also sometimes for better wifi, I would go into the Brooksville town center (1 minute away) and hang out at Mountaineer Coffee Shop. They had great wifi and were very friendly.
Also down the street, there was a great bar called Florida Cracker Country. And about 30 minutes north in Lecanto Fl are the Peace Caves or Dames Cave to explore.
Definitely recommend staying here!

We needed a place to stay the night after going to weeki wachee state park and heading to Orlando. Not many RV campgrounds in the area and most are more mobile home parks.
This has a mix of both. We were in site 354. Not hard but doable to back into a couple trees keep it tight. The pad is asphalt, kinda narrow and could use a top coat. For us it was level though so met our needs. Power couldn’t handle our AC and electric water heater. We tripped it. We reserved an elite spot not sure we got that but all their levels were the same price.
Indoor pool is DEEP they also have a jacuzzi and sauna. The walk to the outdoor pool was about a half mile through the well maintained mobile home park. Really nice pool as well.
A couple ponds/lakes to s of bigs trees and birds. The front gates close and lock at 8pm. The front desk people are nice but leave at 5pm. There is a little shack where they put all
Your paperwork in an envelope to pick up.
WiFi we paid not sure they have a free option. It was spotty but we could still work and daughter was able to play video games times.

No designated parking for check in. During check-in, the on duty manager was in a shouting match with a patron over garbage collection policy. I couldn’t hear the instructions from receptionist. Tree lined narrow roads made backing my 30’ 5th wheel difficult. Paid $15/week for useless 3rd party wifi that won’t connect without wifi booster, then only got 1.5 mbps. Pool facility nice but .6 miles away in neighboring mobile home park.

We have stayed at Clover Leaf Resort for two weeks and really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and well maintained amenities. The campground is attached to a senior community with an indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, pickle ball courts, ponds, and lots of trees. The staff is awesome and went above and beyond to accommodate us.
