Floridian RV Park

The Floridian is a relatively new, fairly priced, and beautifully landscaped park, with a nice clubhouse, owners and hosts. Road noise and special permanent campers are significant issues, and we will avoid returning in the future. The park is along a major roadway and adjacent to a utility construction site (this should end soon). Special campers violate rules with impunity, including using power tools during quite hours (a handy man works from a site) and having dogs off leash in the park, including around other sites and on golf carts.

We have stayed at this park on 4 separate occasions and will be coming back again later this year. Yes, it’s that appealing. The owners could not be more welcoming and will go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. The sites are large and level. The surface is hard packed gravel so you can use your outdoor rug. The power is strong and the water is good as well. There is a lovely new clubhouse, with his and her restrooms as well as an efficient laundry room and everything is spotless. Did I mention they preserved mature trees during the building of the park? These trees, along with landscaping and various outdoor seating areas around the park give it a more park like feeling rather than a parking lot for RVers. It’s convenient to Gainesville as well as the small, gulf coastal towns. Don’t pass this one up.

Stayed the weekend. Was running late, they called to make sure I was on the was still. Super nice setting reservation and checkin. Level gravel site. Full hookup. Road noise in section B sites but kept AC running and covered most of it. Will be back!
