“In “The Wood Art Capital of Oklahoma””

In “The Wood Art Capital of Oklahoma”, Beavers Bend State Park, the Forest Heritage Center serves as a museum and boasts unique displays and several large dioramas painted by Smokey Bear artist Harry Rossoll. These dioramas alongside narration invite viewers to experience prehistoric forests, the time of Caddo Indians, 1940 lumber operations and so much more! Visitors can also see the Forest Wood Art Gallery, chainsaw carvings, a century-old log cabin originating in the Kiamichi Mountains, and traditional woodworking tools.
