The best place to start a visit here is at the Breckenridge Welcome Center in downtown Breckenridge. In addition to information about all the things going on in Breck, they have an awesome free museum.
The museum is full of interactive exhibits about the town’s history and environmental accomplishments. Tour the renovated 19th century log cabin that was discovered during the demolition of the original building to make way for the Welcome Center.
The Welcome Center and museum is open everyday except Mondays.
We think a visit here is one of the best things to do in Breckenridge in the summer!
