Checked this place out looking to tent camp. There is a boat launch and two grills, but it sits on a slope making a tent not possible. There was A LOT of trash, which was sad. The water was beautiful though and it has a nice sunset.

Pulled in after dark. We didn't bother checking the wildlife area, just went atraight to the boat launch area. One or two camper vans were already set up. We found a flat spot to tent directly on the water. The wind was terrible, but otherwise a pleasant night Woke up at 7am to the sound of the first boat being launched. Packed up and beat it.

This is one of the few sites along I-70 in NE that isn't directly next to the freeway. Good for a quick overnight, but I wouldn't camp on the boat landing for more than a night.
