Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 19, 2022We were tired of driving so pulled into this campground after driving down the Enchanted Highway through Regent, ND. Friendly host and had our pick of campsites. Campground very quiet (some highway noise) and mostly occupied in the other "long term" sections by travelling workers - oil field, highway construction and harvest crews. Nice and quiet with no party atmosphere from the hard working guests. Would recommend site #13 if you need 50A service as it is a little more secluded in the few trees that are in the campground. Bowman is VERY weak in the restaurant category so plan on cooking your own meals as we did. Bowman is a typical Midwestern agricultural town on the prairie. Beautiful in its own way.

This is a town park that was very open, very few people there. We stayed for one night in late June 2018. The camp host was very friendly and informative. She mentioned that there was a tornado watch but she would come around to let us know if it was changed to a warning and also told us where the shelter was located. The sites are all pull-through. We were in site 51 with FHU, 50 amp, gravel pad that was very level. Wifi was available but would not reach us at the site. Rate was $25 per night. There was a grocery store close by. It’s perfect for an overnight.

Site 35 and Site 13 are electric-only sites and they provide some shade during the day (we camped in June). Site 35 is also less than 50 yards from an active train track! We enjoy trains and the sounds, but some may not. Sites seem mostly level but some are overgrown with weeds. We can also recommend Next Door Pizza! Delicious pizza and friendly staff.

This is a basic campground with few amenities but easy access. Also the cleanest bathrooms I’ve encountered in many years of full time. The building is old looking on the outside but inside the tile and everything is sparkling clean. Looks newly refurbished. There was plenty of space as it wasn’t nearly full - maybe less than 25% of sites used. Plenty of room for me to play ball with my dog. Even my cat was sprinting around. Good enough WiFi to watch a bit of Netflix- I usually wait till late evening when less competition for it, I’m a night owl anyway. Some trains go by but not very loud.

Pull through with full hookups $30 a night or $150 a week. We stayed last night and liked it so much we are staying another night.
Host is very friendly and helpful. The area is very large with a lot of space for walking our dog.
It is next to a train track, but so far we have only seen a train 3 times. The conductor only makes a quick “toot” at the crossing, so no big deal.
Definitely would return to this park, and probably stay a week next time.
