However, they don’t blow any horns which is what we’ve experienced at other parks close to the tracks. They have a store with nuts, jerky, jellies, salsas, honey, etc. They ev3n give samples before you buy. We will stop there again. They provided WiFi which we used rather than our own.

Clean and wide open. Plenty of vacancy, no reservations required. Sites are level and gravel. Free wi-fi works well if you're parked closer to the office. Easy access off the freeway. Can't beat the price either - $20/night but they accept Passport America, making it $16 (btw, I'm not a PA member and she didn't ask for proof - hint hint).
It was a little confusing when I pulled in because the main building is more like an old mini mart/gas station, but that's the registration office.

Stopped for jerky and decided to stay. Showers on site. Plenty of areas to take a dog off leash. There is a great restaurant in walking distance. Only downside is it is next to the train tracks. Light sleepers may have trouble, but we slept fine.

This RV park is super and low cost. It is located in Bowie, AZ and is close to Old Fort Bowie, the Chiricahua mountains and many other things of interest. I think you could stay here for a few weeks if you really want to see everything. It is about 85 miles from Tombstone which is a seriously fun place to go visit. The only thing is they have WiFi but the internet is not very good. However, if you can do without that for a few days, it is well worth staying here and you can’t beat the price for full hookups. There are train tracks very close by but it ever woke me up because they never blew the horn during the night. I personally never knew how many went through during the night. I would certainly recommend.

Nice park very convenient to Rt10 yet far enough away not to hear the traffic. People here are very nice and want you stay to be a good one. Clean and well maintained park.

Stayed here one night due to Bonita Campground at Chiricahua NM being full. It was a clean and flat gravel lot. All sites were pull through with full hookups. The sewer dump at each site is kind of weird and difficult to get a nice ramp down with the hose but we made do. Staff was very friendly. Laundry wasn't too expensive: $1.75 wash, $1.25 dry, butane had to dry twice. We were unclear whether the showers are free or not. They advertise various prices if you're just needing of services in addition to the camping prices. For instance a dump and fill is $10 but included if you're camping. Showers were advertised as $5. The bathrooms were locked at some point.
The lot is pretty noisy though from train traffic all night. Wifi worked well until 6pm or so at which point we weren't able to connect back to it until morning.

Easy in and out. Wide sites. Friendly staff. This is not a destination RV park or anything but I couldn’t ask for a better place to pull in for the night.

This CG is a small gravel lot behind a beef jerky store. It’s easy to get to from the freeway and flat. Perfect overnight spot to get back in the road. No picnic tables and area is very sparse and a bit dusty. I was driving 5mph and another camper told me to slow down because I was kicking up dust!
Also, there is a food truck parked next to the store and the food looked good!

We were going to stay 2 nights to get ready to boondock on the nearby BLM land. Stayed for 6 because it was a neat little place that we could get some mail and a package or 2.
We indulged in some jerky, peanut brittle, fudge and a pecan pie for our Thanksgiving in Indian Bread Rocks dispersed camping.
The laundry was ok, not great but usable for sure. The host Tom, was a very nice man and helpful.
There was a train route relatively close but they didn’t blow the horn so it wasn’t bad for us.

For $21 a night for full hookups, (that included tax) we were ok with listing to the very close train tracks noise. It’s pretty loud. I was woken up four times at night, but I’m a very light sleeper. Another family member who sleeps with ear plugs didn’t hear them at all. I’ll attach a photo to show how close the tracks are.
The laundry is $1.75 each to wash/dry. There are bathrooms and showers. Hosts are really nice and attentive. There are a few permanent looking set ups, but they’re on the outskirts. They make jerky here and when they’re smoking the meats you end up salivating every time you’re outside.
Some confusion around the address: the directions here on Campendium take you to the right place. If you type in Mountain View RV Park or Resort it directs you to a place a few miles down the road. It doesn’t help that there are two signs here one says Dwayne‘s RV park, and behind it is another sign in smaller letters that says Mountain View RV park. So look for Dwaynes and the jerky shop and you’ll be in the right place.
