“home cooking in a casual atmosphere”
The Edison café has been in operation since the early 30’s. Before it was a café it was operated as a Texaco Station. Since that time many types of goods were provided here, directions to points beyond, penny candy, ammunition for hunters, tackle for fishermen, auto supplies, advice & eventually meals. Serving the community has always been a goal of The Edison Café. So many people have frequented this place that it should really be called The People’s Café. They return time and time again for its casual atmosphere, welcoming conversations and home cooking. “Shake the die” for morning coffee, sit and read the Seattle and local papers, join in the conversations. This is your place, enjoy it as you wish!
