Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 07, 2021The park was small but quiet. They held our site all day for us. Much better service than state parks. Extremely clean bathrooms and showers. Nice pool. Camped on a Thursday and the park was almost empty.

But a short drive from Bay Area
Boulder Creek is a small town with nice character . Easy to get to Felton or Santa Cruz from here. Many redwood trees , black berries grow wild on side of streets .. we visited Junction Park in the town which was a good place to cool off on a hot summer day

This is a hidden gem, the park is tucked away in a Redwood grove.
The campsites are well situated and offer a picnic bench and BBQ grill.
The bathrooms are very clean, and it has a fill and dump station for RV's
You can walk into the town of Boulder Creek for supplies or to visit the Junction Park where there is a river and small beach for swimming.
The park is small and family owned and operated, so a great personal feel to it.
I highly recommend a visit to Redwood Resort.

It was nicely tucked in among the Redwood trees. Therefore, there was zero Verizon coverage to get emails or stream anything. I was able to make a phone call and text but almost no bars! So, if you need coverage, this is not your place.
We dry camped here so I also thought it was a bit pricey for that although dump and water available. Nice showers.

First of all: the woman on the phone was really unfriendly. The office is closing at 8pm. Well I tried to explain her, that we had a car accident and waited 7 hours in the car for the tow truck and we need to calm down and have a snack ( because we just had breakfast ) that it might be 8:30.
She was like; just get a snack for the drive we close at 8.. the host is waiting for you. She really didn’t had any understanding for our situation , really rude.
Anyway: we arrived at 8:15 and the host was so so so nice ( by the way - there were a few people arriving after us & the host is living on the property ) he was super friendly.
The campground is nice.
Facilities are super clean, they have two showers, refill water and a pool.
It was very crowed ( what we liked ) but the campsites are really close to each other.
All in all; I would stay again ☺️

Stayed here on our annual summer trip. The spots here are really tight, if you have anything longer than a 20’ travel trailer good luck getting into your spot. Big rigs will never fit. You also share power with your neighbor so you need a long power cord. In order to use the dump station you need to back your rig around a corner then again after you dump. Wouldn’t stay there again. Wi-Fi was horrible, had to stand near the bathrooms to get any signal. Two showers but in separate buildings across the park, no handicap shower, and water pressure was finicky.
