“Picnic area and playground!”
Gorgeous outdoor space to take your family for a relaxing picnic or pick up game of ball! Originally established in 1898 to bring culture to rural areas, this beautiful park now hosts cultural events, features rock climbing sites, lovely gardens and picnic areas and is the starting point for many hiking trails
Absolutely gorgeous!
Lots of hiking trails easy to expert. The view of the flatirons is perfect. Parking is $2.50 per hour.
Beautiful way to see the Flat Irons! Getting into the parking lot was a little difficult and it was super crowded even on a Monday. Apparently you are also expected to pay for parking via an app, but we didn’t notice the signs until we were leaving — they are super tall with tiny writing and not in every section of the parking area. Pretty confusing! Other than that, it was a nice stop and a great place to get in a few walking miles and photo ops. We went in August and there were still a bunch of pretty wildflowers :)
Great hiking and the scenery is incredibly beautiful!
