Vetta Mountain Guides create memorable days in the mountains. Whether we're climbing rock or ice, or backcountry skiing, we love being in the mountains with friends. Vetta founders Mike Arnold and Rob Coppolillo are two of the less than 100 internationally licensed mountain guides in the US. Give Vetta a call if you're interested in climbing or skiing in Colorado, the US, and beyond!
I was recently part of group TRAD Leader instructor professional train up with Rob. Rob’s knowledge of taking less skill students (clients) out on multi-pitch climbs took my experience level as an instructor to a whole new level. I feel that I can now transition quicker and safer at pitches and rappel stations with less confident students. Rob background and experience with AMGA standards and protocol is above any other AMGA guides that I have encountered before.
I highly recommend Rob from taking a rock climbing group out safety on the Flatirons to professional rock and alpine instruction.
Rob did a great job with the AIARE I Course 3/4-3/5/17 (in partnership with the Colorado Mountain Club.) Avy topics were covered in a humorous and engaging way- and excellent technical details and background were given when student questions indicated an interest in the details of this complex subject.
The Empire Town Hall was a perfect location for these field day sessions- it's convenient to Berthoud Pass and the Hard Rock Cafe had great breakfasts.
