“A great place to dine”
Preservation Kitchen celebrates sharing a good meal with friends and family. We believe that all great things begin at the dinner table. Preservation Kitchen preserves the traditions of regional cuisine and drink. The seasonal menu supports local producers, and uses sustainable, organic ingredients when possible. Owners Gary and Susan Southwick; who also own Main Street AleHouse & Eatery situated in the Preservation Kitchen facility; fell in love with the estate's sprawling grounds, original brick, craftsman woodwork, lead glass windows and two fireplaces. They spent five months restoring the property and building the new bar. They enjoy owning a restaurant that supports local businesses and promotes seasonal cuisine. "We love this building because it has history. It’s old and beautiful. In so many small towns, buildings are being torn down. We wanted to preserve a bit of history and that’s how the name ‘Preservation Kitchen’ came about.”
