“Enter the mysterious hallway”
We develop and manage sustainable, environmentally certified tree farm systems for investment purposes. Our intensively managed plantation forestry assets – those we own as well as those we manage for clients – meet the growing worldwide demand for timber and renewable energy products. And our innovative new forestry investment strategies combine our internal expertise with external capital to generate investment returns. As a bonus, our business is good for the environment and the communities in which we operate. And that means plenty of green to go around.
This place is definitely interesting to see, and it's particularly gorgeous in the fall. There aren't many places where the trees are planted in straight lines like this, and they're quite the sight to see.
@missy.hill.9: It's in the desert, surrounded by sagebrush, and all the trees are in straight lines. It's pretty funky, actually. (I grew up in La Grande, about 70 miles away, and I remember when that area was just sagebrush and nothingness. It's kind of awesome to have trees there now.)
What the? Why does this even register on the rad-o-meter?
what makes it mysterious?
Sooo... Boardman tree farm was cut down in 2016, and is now a potato farm. So welcome to Boardman potato farm.
No trees :(
Most of this can be seen from the freeway. We drove in and they were not quite as impressive or worth the stop.
