Terwilliger Hot Springs

This is an experience you can't pass up. Nude in crystal clear hot springs high in the mountains, surrounded only by a thick conifer forest. It does get pretty busy and the parking lot is not nearly big enough. I would get there as early as possible. Don't worry if it's cold out, the top hot spring is very toasty. And if hippies are not your thing or if you're a prude, probably best to steer clear.

$6 Very quiet and beautiful. Water cleaned on Friday, so take your chances. You must be out of there before sunset or could get a HUGE fine from the Park Ranger. The hottest pool is at the top and gets cooler as you go down. Clothing optional and mostly left at clothing spot. Dogs can come, but have to remain tied out of sight. Since there are predators in area, best left home.
