Large campsites. Some are huge. Most will accommodate RVs. Some pull thrus. Lots of trees and shade. Lake access very limited behind a few campsites. There is a trail that runs behind some. For this reason, I won’t be coming back. We stayed in #7 and had lake access. We shared the little cliff with others that came by via a trail. It seemed there were a few other sites with direct access that were private. There weren’t any other trails to them. Our cliff was steep to get down to the lake. The other option is to drive or walk across the bridge to the Lookout campground boat launch and day use area. Still not a lot of beach area in the day use area. Mona Campground is directly across from Lookout CG. Lookout CG has grass, beach area, but no privacy and few trees.it was also noisy. The lake itself was nice with 2 rivers under the 2 bridges that were good for kayaking. There weren’t a lot of boats on the lake the weekend we were there. There wasn’t much evidence of forest fire at this end of the lake.

Camp Host was awesome! He was friendly, gave advice and provided my kids with worms to fish with. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.
