Historic Eagle Hill Manor is a Victorian "Painted Lady" which was built in 1899 by the Batcheldor brothers for Mr. Addison Humphrey, a prominent landowner. It has been completely restored and updated retaining its old southern charm with its warm, natural woodwork, hardwood floors and original indoor wooden shutters. A homey back porch with swing where one can enjoy flower gardens and listen to native songbirds beckon you to relax. A large front porch with gazebos on either end, furnished with wicker furniture and a swing. It is a lovely place to relax, reflect, or enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Eagle Cove cottage, completely renovated, has two bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, dining area, living room and a huge family room with TV/DVD player. A large rear patio offers quiet relaxation. Step next door for our great fully cooked breakfast at the Manor. Eagle Cove Cottage is also available for extended stays.Children are welcome at the cottage. Snacks and refreshments are available at each location. Phone service with unlimited continental long distance is also provided. Eagle Hill Manor and Eagle Cove Cottage are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and are Kentucky Landmark Homes. Come and enjoy our historical homes.
