Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on December 28, 2021We stayed here for the night in mid-December in cold, wintry weather. The rest area is near the interstate so lots of road noise. We shared the parking area with several semis, another source of noise as they left their rigs running. Ear plugs easily dealt with the noise. Restrooms were warm and pretty clean given the snowy weather. The rest area is in the midst of a vast field of volcanic rock and if you stop here when it is not snowy there is a very cool set of trails leading thru some interesting volcanic formations. Worth a stop just to do the short hike.
