This is a regional general use park that has quite a bit of level gravel parking. There are no services but it is next to the Snake River which is nice. We saw people fishing and riding a dirt bike in the area. There is also a very nice paved bike trail that runs through the area. The freeway is close so there is road noise close by. It is a good free overnight spot and we were the only ones there the first week of July 2018.

If you need an overnight spot this will work. It’s basically a dirt parking lot surrounded by ponds, atv trails, and a paved bike trail. There are some spots right next to the highway if you’re a heavy sleeper, otherwise try going back a bit

We pulled in while traveling from Spokane to Logan, UT. We arrived after dark and used Google Maps to see the “trails” and the ideal place to park. A bit of interstate noise, but otherwise it was a quiet, free, level place to park. Only a few miles from Blackfoot, ID.

Just off the interstate. No marked camping area, just pulled into a spot we liked. Paved road, gravel in parking areas. We pulled in right after dusk and there were a few people riding motorized dirt bikes throughout the park. They wound down just before 9:30. A police vehicle was patrolling the area and drove around the park a few times at 10pm. It was quiet and felt safe. Plenty of parking. Some trash (mostly beer cans on the property). Only one other group camping overnight. There is a nice sidewalk and benches that circles around the center lake. This is a multi-use recreation area for motorists, boaters, cyclist, and archery. We saw bicycle riders in the morning. 5 days maximum camping.

Stayed here for a quick overnight while traveling through. No marked sites and can just pull in anywhere you find an opening. Gravel road was really washed out in a few places. Tried a few access points that our van didn’t have the ground clearance to access. Recommend skipping the first access road and taking the road all the way to the back of the park and accessing this way (much smoother gravel). Plenty of spots available. No services. There is access to a walking/running trail. Water in the river was really low. Works great for a night.

county owned park called Rose Park along the Snake River AND I-15. Open to the public. Fishing, swimming, bike/walking path, dirt bike riding etc. Also dispersed camping. Free. No services. 5 day max stay. Not busy at all. Some rough roads/paths, but any size rig can access. Pretty big area. Spots along I15 are obviously a little noisy, but didn't bother me at all.....also had the best internet. Can get pretty far from the highway and the noise if you want, but your service drops to almost nothing....so take your pick. I'm by the highway.. VZW clocks in at a respectable and consistent 24 mbps down/8 up. ATT varied....sometimes it was 3 down/1 up, other times shot up to 20 down/3 up. 40 OTA TV stations coming in.

Decent spot for a night. After reading prior reviews we decided to stay close to I-15 for cell (needed to figure out our next stop). Cell was fine. Yes, there is highway noise, but that didn’t bother us. If in a larger rig, I would definitely scout ahead of time as there are bumps & areas of thick gravel. Our Lab loved the pond! The only weird thing was the amount of vehicles driving in & going back towards the building - why are they going back there…? One even went back at 11:45 pm! After walking in the morning I assumed it was to use the vault toilet. That kept me awake for awhile, but with a 75 lb loud black Lab, chances are no one would bother us.

I decided not to stay after smelling the vault toilet before I even saw it. Overflowing trash cans plus bags. Very overgrown deadest trees and bushes. I expected to be murdered in my sleep there so I drove a little further on to Idaho Falls.

We spent a good night here, despite the close by highway it wasn't too noisy. Not actually beautiful but safe place to stay, fairly level, variety of great walks you can do with your dog to Snake River and throughout the (gravel) park. Several smaller ponds. Attention: we typed 'Rose Park' in Google Maps and ended up in the parking lot of an appartment building with that name - 4.5 miles away. The real name is Rose Ponds Park, and the best to look for is 'Archery Way'.
