“What do you see?”
Keelboat Park is adjacent to the Missouri River and part of the Missouri Valley Legacy Center. The outdoor self-guided tour lists historical facts about the area during the time of Lewis and Clark's adventure. A large Thunderbird sculpture and a 55-foot full-scale replica keelboat similar to the one used by Lewis and Clark also decorate the park along the walking trail.
Great stop, but the directions are a little off. It’s a few minutes down the road.
Worth a brief stop to see the keelboat and the thunderbird sculpture. I was expecting more from the "giant statues" of Lewis, Clark, and Sacajawea. Not very impressive
