Beautiful grounds and they were very nice checking in. I can’t speak for the shower and bath facilities because we use our own in our trailer. But large sites and very peaceful.

This was the worst of the 11 campgrounds we stayed at on our family vacation. First, having a reservation doesn't seem to mean much. They managed to lose ours or give our site to someone else. We were told to just find an open site and talk to the office in the morning. It was a busy night and we were lucky to find one just before we reached the exit. Instead of being near the real bathroom like we reserved, the closest restroom was the vault toilets for the tent section. It wasn't very close either and impossible to find at night. On top of those inconveniences, General Sibley Park is where Bismarck locals come to party. There were cars driving in and out with stereos thumping until well past 1am when I finally fell asleep. We could also hear drunk people yelling at each other. There was a security truck driving around, but it was clearly not effective. In the morning we were awakened by barking dogs. With no one around to actually enforce the rules, some other campers spoiled things for everyone. While this campground may initially look nice, don't stay here if you want peace and quiet.
