If you are inexplicably forced to spend time in Bismarck, this is not a bad choice. It is better than many KOAs. It has large level spaces, full hookups, mature trees, and hedges between the spaces. It is extremely clean, and the pool and grounds are well taken care of. The pool is heated, so you can actually use it. The campground is close to a nice grocery and liquor store, and just down the road from an RV place with a good parts department.

We have always like the KOA's. This one is no different. We had FHU, able to get 20 channels on our King HD antenna. Loved the bushes in between the sites for added privacy. Plenty of shade! It is by a busy road which we don't mind. There are sites away from the road. Nice gravel roads to walk the dogs. There is also a dog park and a trail through the woods.

This KOA was convenient to stop for a night on our way to Medora, ND. The sites are really close together and the traffic noise from Centennial Road was quite a bit louder than I anticipated.
The staff in the office were really nice. I liked the amount of greenery between sites which did make it feel a little more private.

We arrived late and the host stayed up to help us check in and get parked. He even reopened the pool for 15-20 minutes for my son. Clean park, great host, great experience and you hardly recognize the road noise.

Quick check in as we had registered and paid online. We were led to our site and instructions were efficient and kindly given. Site had a bit of separation on the back half by a hedge, but sites are extremely close together and when I got out of our truck the people in the next site were maybe 10 feet away. We had a pull through with FHU. All were in a good location near the middle to back half of site. They do have a pool but due to virus, you must register for an assigned time to use it and only one group at a time. It's an okay spot for one night. Bit pricey as all KOAs tend to be. Nice stop here by the highway and good pet area for dog. Good for our purposes.
Great location for visiting the Bismarck & Mandan area. Staff very friendly upon check in, escorted us to our site. While the site is a typical RV park type site, there was still adequate room for slides and awnings to be out. Good Verizon signal. Would stay here again if I’m the area.

Stayed 2 weeks in late May early June 2023.
Site type: Back-in, 50 Amps FHU with grass Site #106
THE GOOD
Sites: Our site had lots of space in the patio area with a good amount of grass. Just about all sites in the park looked good with some grass and not too bad for space. Good water pressure.
Grounds: Clean and well-maintained.
Gas/Food: Gas, groceries, and restaurants just a few minutes away.
Connectivity: Surprisingly decent connectivity. The campground wifi worked nicely for light work.
THE BAD:
Sites: Some sites near us including ours were all dumping a bit uphill.
WORTH NOTING (Not good or bad)
In our area of the park there was lots of tent camper turnover.
Lots of mosquitos so bring bug spray so you aren’t overwhelmed.

Made us feel unwelcome after issues getting an important package getting delivered. Had to go directly to Fedex because the front desk owner (Margaret) was less than pleasant.
This was a great stop over on our trip out west. The park is close to the interstate but far enough away not to hear it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites had everything you would expect. Good dog park, lots of activities if you have kids.
