It was a man called "Wally" who named this store and area "Meadow Farms," back around 1922. He started the business of smoking hams and bacon with 300-year-old mountain mahogany logs just for the local folks. The mahogany smoked taste was an immediate success and thanks to the many toursit in this beautiful High-Sierra country, the word traveled.
I ordered the Capone and shall I say it is so yummerific I might just eat that for every meal. I ate it twice in 4 days. The jerky is expensive but sooooo bussin. I haven't tried the bacon yet but... Read more
