We booked this site 4 hours before we arrived! The gentleman was very helpful on the phone and in person, he offered to stay a little late to wait for us to arrive. We have a 2013 Thor Chateau 24 Class C and had a pull through site. 2 Great Danes in tow so they are pet friendly. Has pool, showers, WiFi, and about a 4 min walk to beach. Pretty clean. Quiet. Negative: Looks like people live in campers on property or stay 6+ months at a time...some set ups are interesting. Also, 1 parking lot away from a go-kart track that ran until 10:00 Pm on a Saturday. Highway is also noisy but if you are a heavy sleeper or don’t mind some traffic you’ll be fine! We did enjoy our 24 hour stay by restaurants and the beach and didn’t mind the noise, would stay again!

Staff greeted us and helped us get settled quickly. All utilities worked fine. Great water pressure, so bring your pressure regulator. Level, sandy soil for parking and a cement pad for the picnic table. Right across hwy 90 from the beach and some good eating establishments. No negatives during our stay. The $100 rate is only for a large car event when most RV parks sell out. Easy walk to the street to watch all the cars at night. Enjoyed our visit. Railroad tracks behind the park, but the whistle didn't bother us at all. Couldn't hear the go cart track at all. No trouble sleeping at all.

I'm not one to write a negative review. However, I thought I would let others know about this place so they don't fall into the same trap. I was surprised by how messy it looked. They have campers that stay year round and accumulate a lot of junk. There was a lot of construction workers staying there as well. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal but they get up early and crank up there diesel trucks at 5:00 a.m. Then they let them idol for an hour before they leave. The TRAIN!!!!!! Train tracks are right behind the campground. Trains run day and night. But worst of all they blow their horns continually. Honestly, the first night I about jumped out of bed.

P.S. The wifi in nonexistant....

We love this park and stay here when we come to the Mississippi coast. Great staff, pet friendly, across the street from restaurants and the beach, on-site laundry and pool. They have cable and WiFi, but we haven’t used it (we have our own) , so can’t comment on that. The staff is very helpful and pleasant.

Took my family down to the beach and took our camper instead of getting a hotel. My boys loved the pool and we were walking distance from the beach. Downfall is that you had to cross a busy Highway to get to the beach, but isn’t wasn’t a con for me. The staff was very nice and helpful! If I chose to pull the camper back down the 12 hr trip, I would stay here again. It rained a lot and both sites beside us had about 3-4 inches of standing water. The concrete pads for the most part stayed above the water and dry

We stayed over the 4th of July weekend. The campground was full, but it was still peaceful. Check in was easy. The sites are level. We had a great spot under the live oaks. The bathhouse was clean. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The location is great. The pool was clean. All the site amenities functioned properly. The campground is pet friendly.

The sites are very close together, so you don’t have much privacy, but we still had adequate space. The trains at night are kind of loud.

Very mixed feelings about this campground. The location is great, a short walk across the street is the beach and you’re not far from anywhere you might want to visit. The problem is how your made to feel when you’re visiting, and its certainty is not welcome. The problems started at check-in we were given a site and set everything up, only to find out the 50 amp did not work. The owner was very nice and very apologetic. He told us that she knew it did not work and could not understand why we were put there. She stressed how lucky we were they could move us because they are full. We booked the reservation over 3 months earlier and we are tearing down to set back up but we are lucky? Come to find out they were not full the entire week we were there. The long term campers have their vehicles, boats, extra trailers everywhere. This leaves no place for short term campers to put their tow vehicles. When it is time for short term campers to leave it is next to impossible to get out because the long-term campers’ things are everywhere and some leave for the week so their stuff can’t be moved. You are told to exit with your rig through the back gate but the gate is often closed and locked. The long-term campers feel they own the place and have no problem cutting through or coming on to your campsite if it makes their life easier. When the office workers family visited, they were a very difficult to deal with, it felt like you have jumped into a stranger back yard pool uninvited. They are constantly yelling across the campground. They loudly joked about “knowing the rules” as they are breaking them. They brought their dogs to the pool and the one is constantly humping the other one so everyone is screaming at it. Perhaps the hardest thing was what was coming out of their mouths. The was awful and the terrible racist things that everyone in their party both young and old said. It was unacceptable beyond what you should have to explain to a child and there were children saying it. It put the us in a very difficult position, they were intimidating not only by their actions and words but by the numbers I was not willing to fight and we needed a place to stay so you did not dare to say a word.
