Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on April 26, 2022Pros: friendly staff, clean facilities, full hookups, wifi (slow), close to the interstate for convenience, reasonable rates, lots of trees for shade
Cons: camping sites are tight, not spacious, close to the interstate (noisy), $4 to wash and dry each load, charge to use the pool (seasonal), we had about 50 pigeons close to our site, which led to pooping on our vehicles several times a day (neighbor was feeding them). They also had a whole dug deep in the ground on our site which led me to believe some type of animal was close by. We also had all of the electric wiring, a large electrical box which didn't leave us a lot of space behind our camper.

Stayed 12/29/2020 for 1 night
I had made a reservation and pre-paid for the night several hours ahead of time as I was going to arrive after office hours. As promised, the check-in package along with my receipt was taped to the front door. The campsite map provided was clear and I had no trouble finding the site or connecting to the 30 amp service and water. The brochure had the usual array of bathroom codes, WIFI passwords, campground rules, etc.
My campsite was level concrete with a picnic table which looked to be new. The campsites were fairly close together but I heard nothing from my neighbors. WIFI was slow but better than many other campgrounds where there is either no WIFI at all or it is painfully slow. There was propane available.
On the negative side, the campground was only a few hundred yards from Interstate 10 so there was constant road noise but I didn't find it overly obtrusive and it didn't keep me from sleeping very well that night.
I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly check in experience with the office staff. Our site was very level, concrete pull through, had a lovely concrete table and a tree. We were staying one night as we traveled through the area. It is right behind a camping world in case you need any camping stuff ( who doesn’t need camping stuff :) and while you are right off the I-10 the noise was not too loud for us. Didn’t really use any of the amenities so can’t speak to those. I’d say the place has a good number of long timers and it is a bit older but it was clean and felt safe and we would stay again.

Right off I-10, this park is convenient to thru travelers looking for a quick overnight. Not horribly expensive. Full hook ups, clean level site. Easy in and out. Bathrooms dated but super clean. Many long-term campers here but no problem, everyone was cool. Would definitely stay here again.

We stopped here to dump & fill the water tank (for a small fee) and let the kids stretch their legs. They have an awesome, new looking pool.
Great spot. We dropped in on the way to Houston from Atlanta and felt right at home at this delightful park. Looks like a great vacation place especially if you have a boat!
Forgot to add...kids are swimming in nice lil pool and were able to ride bikes around safely
Pulled off the highway late night and found this lil gem of a spot. Office was closed but friendly host found us and led us to a pull through spot. Nice grass and trees, next to water updated services. Well maintained as well.
