“oldest public structure in Big Rapids”
Representation of Queen Anne's architecture adapted to a public building. The building was the Sheriff's residence from 1893-1965. The fence around the yard is the railing from the former Maple Street bridge which was replaced in the mid-1980s. Today it is used as a community center and is available for tours by appointment.
