Forest Springs Getaway

Deep in the backcountry, secluded and private at the end of the road (4-wheel drive not needed), this charming old farm has not changed much since it was settled in the early 1890’s at the head of the creek. Guests are welcome to explore the impressive 1895 barn and 1921 log house, built from local timber without the use of power tools. Quiet, private garden guesthouse with kitchen, bath, and personal splash pool on 160 acres of lush forest, guests can stroll pristine forest paths along our shady creek, thru the fern meadow to our little lake with dock, seats and rowboat. They can also revel in solitude on quiet walks through mostly level, varied forest where dogwood, moss and ferns interplay with old-growth cedar, fir, mountain oak, madrone and yew. Sample organic fruit in our orchards. Flower displays, the whispering pines and waterfalls make it ideal for sweethearts, artists and writers.
