“where collaboration meets artisan”
A collective of more than 40 local artists selling handmade soaps, metal works, home decor, clothing and more. Here at Workhouse we are of the mind that work pays. By offering an atmosphere of camaraderie, excellence, innovation, and creativity we hope to encourage our community to Get Back To Work. No, not drudgery, not ‘jobs’- but work: the physical or mental effort or activity directed toward the production or accomplishment of something- especially related to the arts. By creating a space with open, active work studios, a community table that will be available for public use and hold creative arts classes, and housing a place of exchange between makers and buyers we believe we can bring the power of economy back into our own hands. Whether handmade soaps, metal works, home decor or fashionable clothing, we hope makers of every kind will find respite within our old brick walls.
